I was prepared to jeer...but that actually might work!

I'm not so sure about cowboy boots with a kilt, though.

Do you have to wear a black jean western cut kilt with it? Also, do you wear your hose with flases ore scrunched down with the cowboy boots?

Very nice jacket and tie...please tell me you guys are joking about cowboy boots and a kilt, though! That would look...well...just wrong!

A while back a member posted a pic of themselves at a "Cowboy" wedding wearing Kilt, cowbay hat and boots.

I haven't done the cowboy boot thing but I do wear a cowboy hat with my kilt every now and then.

Not if one is wearing formal Country Western wear. Then in looks quite dashing, much like a string tie might, context is everything.

I am not Scottish, but I love wearing kilts and I love the looks of them. I am trying to find something that incorporates the kilt but shows my American heritage. I have the American Heritage kilt and would like to make a look that is definitely American but not to offend the Scottish folks or make a mockery of their heritage.
I like the Cowboy hat with the kilt. I don't care for cowboy boots with the kilt.
Any other suggestions?
