    What do you think?

My wife just finished this amazing Aran sweater for me and although I love it and it's super comfy I'm wondering if it's a bit too much sweater for me. What do you guys think - too much? - look silly wearing it? - large but acceptable? great looking? Let me know, thanks.

Yup waaaay to big for you. It will however look dashing on me. I'll pm you my address to take it off of you hands.
Seriously though I think it's bulky but in a really good way. I think that's one h3!! Of a sweater. You lady has skills. Does she do kilt hose?

I would however look in to a new kilt. The kilt you are wearing in these pictures in my opinion looks dreadful. Almost like P@NTS

Perhaps a careful washing and maybe it'll shrink a bit?

Wonderful pattern, Nice colour BUT, yes it is a bit too big. Washing it may help but could also ruin the hang of it.

I think it's fine and not too big. Just be careful at dinner that you watch the sleeves don't go into the pasta fagioli when you reach for the salt.

Nice bit of knitting, Tommy. Very like the sweater and cardigan my mother-in-law made for me once upon a time.
My salaams to your good lady.

I think it's a wonderful looking sweater. It would look great with my kilt Ok...I just had to do it too.

It might look nice over top of a shirt and perhaps a tie to fill in a bit more. I have one similar (but not anywhere near as nice) that I wear all the time. Real comfortable.
