Question What Strap with a Full-Mask Sporran?

Alright, we all know that there are day sporrans, semi-dress sporrans, and dress sporrans. And most of us have traded the chain straps on our day sporrans for leather, to save wear on our kilts, and reserve the chains for dress/formal wear.
My question is this: With a full-mask sporran, which can be daywear, semi-dress, or dress, what strap do you wear? Do you only use a chain? Do you wear it with a leather strap during the day, and then switch to a chain for dress? And if you use a leather strap, do you only use a color that matches your leather (belt and shoes), or a color that matches the sporran (brown for beaver, black for skunk, etc)?

I would simply:
Wear a chain for formal
Wear a leather that matches the rest of the leathers at other times.

I should have thought this through a little more; maybe have made it two polls. Oh well.
If you would pick between options #1 and #2, and if you pick #2, then choose between #3 and #4. I think that will work.

I would wear a chain strap for evening wear, and a leather strap that matches my other leathers during the day regardless of colour of fur.

As by your confusing instructions I chose option 2 and then whether to match the others leathers of the hide (option 3 or 4).

A round braid leather sporran strap will do for both dress and casual

Did we confiscate something at the border to enable the building of a full face sporran? Antilocapra Americana perhaps?

Gonna make bellying up to the bar a little difficult, let alone chatting to to the ladies...
