Where do you carry your flask?
Didn't want to highjack azwildcat96's thread.
When I head out to the Fair (the only time I carry a flask, open container laws you know) I will start carrying one for the traditional toast to Service members.
In the sporran is normally keys, wallet, cell phone, spare glasses/sunglasses and camera. Even with the large carrying area in my latest sporran that's about max capacity.
So wear do you carry your flask?

I carry a linen haversack to Highland games and such. It usually gets filled with purchases as well.

I put mine in with my candles, bells, linens etc. After all, it's Holy Water. (Chemical formula, H2Oly)

Thanks, Jim...
I actually don't carry a flask too often. In fact I can't think of a time when I carried one while kilted. I guess my way of thinking is that if they don't have Scotch whereever I'm going, I'll just have a Guinness.

I've been desperately trying to find the clip from Life On Mars where Gene Hunt takes a bullet to the hip flask...it's a good one...very instructive on where to carry it (and how many to carry). Can't find it, though...those who have seen it in both the UK and US versions know what I mean.

When I used to ride to hounds, I carried my flask attached to my saddle in a special leather pouch, these days when out shooting, point to points, Highland games, or some such, I carry it in the back of the car with 8 accompanying silver tumblers. Contents? "Fox's blood"-----two thirds port, one third brandy.
