You have to login to see the thing. Hope I get it soon

Hope it's worth 24.52 EUR with shipping...

some of the fur ones look good to me too, but I recognize a few, and can't rationalize the international shipping.

The shipping is from Germany and is 8.95 EUR to Slovenia. So it was 15.57 EUR for sporran itself. But shipping could be 15 EUR for the same item (other sellers). It depends on insurance.

    Hardly wait....

Price is OK. These are pretty typical of the current wave of Asian Sporrans. "Hasenfell" is probably rabbit and not hare--- the traditional Scottish pattern would, of course, call for an aquatic mammal such as seal or otter. Workmanship can anywhere from good to mediocre but never excellent. Materials tend to be, by Scottish standards, sub-par. That said one must keep in mind that these kind of bags have been selling well enough in Scotland to put an end to much of the home industry--- other than used or NOS (New Old Stock) the pickings of really good "Made in Scotland" commercially made sporrans has become thinner over the last few years.

Isn't Rabbit vs Hare splitting hairs?

Granted, what an American thinks of as a chipmunk is what much of the world thinks of as a squirrel. Unless you are being specific, like arctic hare, I wouldn't that that matters much. As long as it came from a hipity hop, I'd be happy.

    They have different values.

Chipmunk is a genus of ground squirrels: Tamias, for example Tamias striatus or the Eastern Chipmunk. Not all squirrels are chipmunks but ALL chipmunks are squirrels. :-)
