www.celticjackalope.com???

Has anyone bought any products from this guy??? He has a lot of nice products advertised on his site, I privately commisioned him to make me a custom cap badge last June, I paid half up front, he said it would take the usual 6-8 weeks, he still hasn't come through. I'm wondering if he has ripped off any other X-Markers?

I've bought several items from him in the past with no real issues. I bought two sterling silver badges and have been very satisfied with them, although mine were in stock, so there was no delay.

I did have one mix-up involving an L&M hunting sporran, where he sent the wrong sporran to me. When I notified him of the problem he was willing to make the correction.

My guess is that the delay is a result of the custom order, which they may not be set up to handle. If he is unable to deliver according to your time frame why don't you contact him, ask for a refund, and order a custom sterling silver badge through Matt Newsome?

Cordially,

David

Thanks David
I did ask for a refund and he said no, he said it would be ready near the end of December, now he's ignoring my e-mails completely.

This is very unfortunate and it appears that you have been very reasonable. Even taking into account the old adage about "two sides to a story", I think I would call him, explain how dissatisfied I am with his customer service, and demand a refund if the item was not in my hands by March 15. If you don't have it by then, I think you should widely publicize your bad experience with his business.

Here's his contact info:

So...... He finally got back to me today, the same day I put this post up (coincidence?) and he says that it will be three weeks. I almost feel bad now for posting this but it has been 9 months! I will post with pictures when i get it as the other products that he has are of very nice quality.

Don't feel bad. You did well, have been patient and reasonable, and I like to think that he's become more reasonable because of the heat you've applied.

There is a certain strength in numbers.
