The X Marks Clan Crest Badges have arrived!!!
I'm sure this will brighten your day.
The X Marks Clan Crest Cap Badges have arrived just this morning. I have only had a chance to count them and take a quick look at quality.
Here they are laid out to make sure they all arrived.

And a closer look at one badge. The quality is very good. Scott and the Gaelic Themes team did a superb job. The detail is sharp and clear. The finish is a nice soft pewter color.

They are slightly larger than the usual badges. Scott commented that they are the size of the original regimental cap badges so they should look great on a Balmoral, as a Kilt Pin, or mounted on a sporran.
The slightly larger size makes it very easy to read the wording in the belt and announce to the world your affiliation with X Marks.
I quickly mounted one of the badges into a standard Clan Crest Belt Buckle to see how it looked.
I like it.

Now for the bad news.
The badges arrived just as I am packing for my 10 day trip to Pennsylvania for my aunt's funeral and then down to see Matt and attend Kilt Kamp.
There is no way I am going to be able to get all the badges into envelopes, addressed, fill out custom forms, and get them all down to the Post Office.
I am very sorry folks but the shipping of the badges will have to wait for me to get back on the 15th.
I promise that mailing the badges will be my first priority upon my return.
I will pack 10 badges in my bags and have them on the trip if any of the rabble would like to meet and pick them up in person.

Those look great! Thanks again, Steve, for all you've done on this project. Heck, a few more weeks of jonesing simply adds to the delightful anticipation!

Nice job Steve. They look great.
Now for the bad part. You now have everyone on the list jonesing just because you are going out of town. You should take the badges and packing material with you and send them out while you're gone in your spare time. It will save some customs issues too.

Thanks for the update, Steve, and for all your work on this project.
Could you let us all know one of the places where we could get one of those clan crest belt buckles into which to fit our new X Marks the Scot Clan Crest badge?
Thanks again!

Those look fantastic, Steve. My condolences to you. Have a safe trip and a merry meet here stateside. Those badges will still be there when you return to Oh Canada!
