    Yellow Lewis Hose & Garters

    In case folks miss it in the Museum thread, these have just arrived from Hawick, Scotland, and are now sitting on our gift shop shelves!

    I don't think I need the yellow hose right away (although I'm sure I'll have to eventually get a pair).

    Now, if you get the extra-long ties in yellow, I'll have to get some of those.

    The yellow I've got from the Lewis Hose line look more gold to my eye than these, I have worn them with the X-Marks tartan however I don't have any photos as yet, I often wear yellow garter ties with blue hose and the X-Marks tartan.

    I think this color would go great with X Marks. The yellow is a bit more of a softer shade that what is showing in the pic. The small swatch image on the hose page is a better indication of the color, I think:

    Grumble...buy all the colors and he adds two more....the yellow will probably only go with about 8 of my kilts.....the ecru....hmmm all of them I guess...dang...prisoner of my addiction again...what's that evil cackle and sound of the old cash registrer I hear from the hills of Carolina....where's my dang credit card???
