Yet Another Kilt Boot
I went to our local Good Earth Home Show here in Eugene. I came across these http://www.jadeplanet.net/pachira.htm
I liked them so well I bought a pair ($40 at the show). Those of you interested in recycling and reuse, they are made mostly from recycled materials. On top of that, she owns a mini-Utilikilt and bought a kilt for her son.
They seem very well built and a great deal for the price. (not affiliated, just a satisfied customer).
I found that the women's models were a bit wider in the toe, so instead of a men's 10, I bought a women's 11.5 (US sizes)

That's a cool boot, but for now I'll stick with my Cats until they wear out.

Like the look. Pretty impressive use of recycled materials. Am a little surprised to see that men's sizes only go to 10.5. Still, thanks for bringing it to our notice.

Those look solid. Plus, very cool as far as being recycled materials and all.

Nice looking boots. They look like they'd be good in the summer, though I prefer all leather. I need a new pair before the soles fall off, I'll have to consider those.

Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

The owner has a feedback form on the webpage. Let her know you're interested in larger sizes! Maybe she'll make a special XMark Kilt boot.
