83 Yr old man. (The VIDEO)
Nikki found this and sent it to me. This is the video of the gent in question. Now I REALLY think it was overkill.

I agree, overkill. He sounds like a first generation scot over here and if he had done that in the UK it would have just been a big joke.

It does seem a little crazy to be taking this action against an 83 yr old. It seems to me that not much of anything would have been visible anyway, and even if it was people should just grow up.

the only thing that bothers me about this is the time and money that will be wasted on this old dudes court appearance. There are so much more important things in the world to worry about then this fellow's butt!!!
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

I agree is was silly to do and I would never do that. But...compare that with the public nudity we see today in street parades and on TV and it all seems out of proportion.
I doubt whether this action would take place in Australia.

I understand the video was edited, but I guarantee I see more butt cheeks on an average day at the beach than he showed.
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

I'm embarrassed for my state. I've seen more nudity at the local pool....

As the gent said - he got lost in the moment and did a foolish thing. It seems to me the police officer in the video is less than enthusiastic about charging him with a crime - good for him. With any luck the prosecutor will drop this like a hot rock.

Why couldn't the offended party been a decent human being and simply expressed their dispelasure to the kilted gentleman? It seems to me if someone had done so he would most likely have apologized, and then it would be over.
I agree, you see more skin at the local pool these days.
