    Age of Empires 3

For years I have played a computer game series called Age of Empires which is a strategy game. The series is really accurate in history and i actually passed history tests because of these games.

anyways, the third installment is in the period of exploration to the 1800's. this one features highlanders as a special unit and mercenaries. the special unit is the legendary black watch and the mercenaries are just highlanders.

In game wise...these guys kick serious rump.

this game is a couple years old and is still quite fun.

I love that game! And even though it's kinda old, it still lags a bit on my laptop...awesome graphics.

Is it a stand alone or an online game?

Well, I just tried out the trial version. I like it .

From their website (click here), it states you can play either.
