No wonder he had his kilt on backwards, he was part of the competition.

I'd HOPE they did that on purpose... It never ceases to amaze me... how many times has the general public seen a pic of a man in a kilt, yet you still hear of people wearing them backwards all the time.

I think some people need a big label saying "front" and "back" and a full instruction leaflet sewn on to the inside apron!

Yes, FRONT in big stencil letters on the inside of the waist band is a good idea.
We have "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY" in raised letters on the Claymore Mine.
But that is so when the sneaky little bastards turn them around on you at night, you dont blow yourself up when they hit you later.

"And there's your war lesson for the day!"
And you all know where the origional "Claymore" came from.

I think some people even need their socks labeled left and right

A bit off topic, but I watched "The Punisher" the other night. There is a funny scene where one of the bad guys picks up the claymore, with a detonator attached and turns it around to read, "front towards enemy" and throws it down.

I saw it too. Just hung my head and sighed. You figure they would just ask someone which way he should wear it.

Here is Richard Branson... multi-millionaire, sporting his kilt backwards.
If he can't get it right, how do you expect a highschool kid to get it right?

I ran a dinner for 650 people on Friday and one of the guests, an older man was wearing his kilt backwards. I felt very bad for him as I know many people noticed.
