I've seen Johnny perform live a number of times. If you ever get the chance, you MUST see him! He's a hilarious comedian and a fantastic piper!

I wish I was more musically talented... right now I can only play the guitar and trombone with a little bit of drums and piano splashed in there.

and I wish that pipes would fit into a high school students budget

great link, there are some other videos on the website

F natural ( f with top hand finger 3 covering the d hole as well) when Gordon Duncan played it he managed to get another couple of embelishments in as well
    (not for the faint hearted

Its become a bit of a bagpipe novelty standard since it first appered on Gordon Duncans "thunderstruck" Album

That guys great. I would love to take up the bagpipes someday, but currently i live in an apartment with alot of close neighbors and no backyard. While technically I could do it, it wouldn't make me very popular with the neighbors, let alone my wife.

    Sean,
You'd probably be on the (much quieter) practice chanter for about a year anyway, depending on how fast you learn.

    Give 'er a go laddie!
