    BBC "In Pictures" -- Red Hot Chili Pipers

    From today's BBC "In Pictures":



    "Bagpipers the Red Hot Chili Pipers launch the Gathering 2009 festival for Scottish clans at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. Events include Highland Games, piping and traditional dancing."

    Great shot! I saw this band perform last year, and they were a blast. Good group to open this event.

    I was afraid they would be wearing the Red Hot Chili Peppers band uniform which consists of a sock on the willy.

    Great to see the wee lad with a practice chanter, in his kilt, walking with his father the first piper. Never to young to learn the pipes.

    They are one of the main liners at the Milwaukee Irish Fest in August. They are of course first on my list of must see bands.

    R.H.C.P. is coming to the New Hampshire Highland Games Sept 18, 19, 20 at Loon mountain, Lincoln, NH.

    I picked up two of their CDs when I was in Scotland last fall they are brilliwnt with the pipes. I guess the wee man is going to start the chillie pipers mark II
