OK, so it's not exactly about kilts, rather, one of the component parts, but apparently if you're a sheep shearer the US is the land of opportunity.

Back home, when I was a little kid, I used to watch the sheep farmers shear sheep... They also had a demonstration at the fair barn every year... They even had spinning wheels and yarn making demonstrations right next to the fry bread booth...
Oops, I'm reliving the past again.
