Sir Billy has never been a "go to" person for sartorial advice, but great to see him looking well.

Anyone else think that his outfit just doesn't fit or look right on him?

Due to the hues of the modern version of the Maxwell tartan, my tartan suit is even louder than Connolly's, but I don't wear it with a T-shirt, tartan flashes or fly plaid! Afterall, a little subtlety is required.

Aye, I heard he's ailing and it's a good thing to see him well enough to take part in an event like this.

As we've already discussed this outfit, this post might be better combined into this one.

Oh, and no surprises about the maker. Not my cup of tea at all.

If there was ever to be a King of Scotland, this is what I hope he would wear. It’s regal, fun, elegant and proud.
Unfortunately for Howie, I believe prince Charles wears Lochcarron kilts.

If we receive permission from the OPs it could be done.
