Bob & Doug special on CBC

Karen and I are watching the 24th Anniversary special on Bob & Doug McKenzie (from SCTV fame), and they had two kilted pipers playing the "theme" call. Too cool! Coo roo koo koo koo roo koo koo.

Ah, Bob and Doug McKenzie... I grew up around people who sound just like them, so I find it all the more humorous!

I missed it last night loved SCTV and Bob and Doug, I still have the album somewhere, but I find those type of shows usually just re-hash old jokes.

One of my most prized possessions is my set of Bob and Doug "action" figures...complete with Coleman stove and back bacon.

...and, boy, did I luck out...I got mine for $5 US each...they've obviously become collectible since then.

Maybe they'd show the Brothers raising the mouse in the bottle!

    That would be awesome!

Some Guinness spilt on the barroom floor.
When the pub was closed for the night, a wee brown mouse crawled out of his hole and sat in the pale moonlight.
He lapped the foamy froth from off the floor and back on his haunches he sat,
and all night long you could hear him roar "Bring on the Goddamn cat!"

does it bother anyone but me that Spuds in the Budweiser beer flavored water commercials isn't even the same breed as the real Spuds?
