    Braveheart/Scottish Alcohol Comercial

I saw a new comercial (several times now) and it intersplices a Braveheart-esque highlander and a modern guy running.

I was wondering if anyone had seen it and (if so) what ya'll think.

I forgot the actual brand-> signifying a good unsuccessful comercial-> one that is memorable, but not brand driven (one can't remember the brand it was for).

Actually, the receipe for Drambuie itself reportedly dates from the Jacobite era -- reportedly Prince Charles Edward Stuart himself (Bonnie Prince Charlie) gave the receipe for Drambuie to a loyal subject, John MacKinnon, as a reward for helping Charlie escape after Culloden. That's the way the legend goes, anyway.

I personally like the Indonesian drink called a "su-su": Drambuie and ice-cold milk or half-and-half. It used to be a very popular drink at the Jakarta, Indonesia Highland Games, especially with the pipers from Western Australia!

Ahhh yes...saw the commercial. Just what I needed....made in my ancestor's homeland of Skye.

Used to end my day with a small glass of Drambuie over one cube of ice...sweet stuff.

The ice cube was to remind me that I was a gentleman drinker, not an alcoholic....right...

Suppose I should than the Drambuie folks for helping me finally crawl through the doors of AA.

    Dang that was good stuff!

Ahhh yes, a little euphoric recall going on....
