CBC (Canadian) News fashion report: Tartan is "in" this year

    Gents,

My wife is something of a fashionista, and we just enjoyed this recent video report from CBCnews.ca, covering the recent popularity of tartan in fashion this year.

The report also features Canadian badboy Celtic fiddler Ashley MacIsaac.

How about that, guys? We're "in" this year.

oh Ashley.....what a guy. Anybody remember years ago when he was on Conan O'Brien? He played a great tune called "sleepy maggie" with fellow Cape Bretoner, Mary Jane Lammond. I'll never forget him jumping up into the air and doing this crazy "scissor kick" that let the entire viewing audience in on his "regimental" secret!

Back on topic, it's nice to know that tartan is fashionable at least.
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

    I'm with you Hamish!
From the lone Shieling of the misty islands,
Mountains divide us and the waste of seas.
Yet still the blood is strong, the heart is Highland,
And we in dreams behold the Hebrides.

Funny I was thinking isn't tartan always in style.

I really like the fact that they refered to it as tartan more than refering to it as plaid.
