I saw a post about these Heritage of Scotland people so found this article quite interesting.

Well I did purchase a Prince Charlie from them late last year and I am happy with it, i ordered it on the net from:
www.heritageofscotland.com
Before I knew of their reputation.
My review of the outfit can be found here:

I hope this helps out.

Reason: spelling

I have to disagree with Mr Nicholsby of Geoffrey (Tailor) who is quoted in the article stating that "We are the last stronghold of quality in the Royal Mile."
There is also Hector Russell and the Celtic Craft Centre to name but two as I would have pointed out had commenting not already closed.
And at least you do get good personal service if you enter a Gold Bros shop - Hamish I have yet to hear anything more about the concerns I raised on this point
Reverend Earl Trefor the Sublunary of Kesslington under Ox, Venerable Lord Trefor the Unhyphenated of Much Bottom, Sir Trefor the Corpulent of Leighton in the Bucket, Viscount Mcclef the Portable of Kirkby Overblow.
Cymru, Yr Alban, Iwerddon, Cernyw, Ynys Manau a Lydaw am byth! Yng Nghiltiau Ynghyd!
(Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Isle of Man and Brittany forever - united in the Kilts!)

Having a GT Kilt I might disagree with this comment while the material is good the make up leave something to be desired.
