    Cyclist in a kilt!

There was an article in cyclingnews.com today about a new British pro team. What was interesting is that at the launch of the team, they were piped in by Scottish team member Evan Oliphant.

He's wearing the Ancient Oliphant along with his cycling jersey, which looks kind of cool! This was neat to me because: i) I'm a road cyclist (although nowhere near the calibre of Mr. Oliphant); ii) I'm a piper (although probably nowhere near the calibre of Mr. Oliphant); and iii) my mom's maiden name is Oliphant (her dad was born in Leith).

    Eye catching, for sure.

If only there was a shot of him playing, riding, and kilted.

IMHO, he looks better than the others in the cycling shorts. Our very own Arlen is always kilted, and cycles all over Boise without any problems.

That jersey does look kind of cool, however I don’t think I will wear any jerseys in my collection with my kilt no matter how good I look in my kilt or how similar my legs look like some of his teammates. Think I will stick to rugby jerseys when I go casual.

As a cyclist and a kilt enthusiast, this was a great photo. Thanks for the find!

Then there'd probably one taken a few seconds later when he fell off the bike!
