    Decoding the Past

A recent episode of Decoding the Past:Vampire Secrets (History Channel) started out with the Tale of James Spalding (Scotland 1600's). It featured their version of re-enactors in feileadh-mhor(s). Interesting program for those who are interested in such topics and you get to see a few folks re-enact a Scottish hanging whilst wearing "feileadh mohrs." The program sets out to explain the lore behind "Vampyrism" through a lack of medical and scientific knowledge of past historical periods. They then show and discuss the effects of the Vampire sub-culture in society today.

I have to see that one! The subject matter is an area of great interest to me... throw in a few kilts for good measure, and it's a must see!
