    Deep Sea Detectives

The Discovery Channel ran a bunch of episodes of Deep Sea Detectives today, including one where they were looking for Nessie.

At the end of the program, the hosts were talking about Loch Ness, then they turned and walked away. Both were wearing kilts. The tartan was red and black.

Had that on for a while last night but the DW wanted to watch HGTV instead so.... missed it.

Nope. I know that one. This one was only red and black.

Then it was probably the Old MacGregor Tartan, also called the Rob Roy. It is simply a red and black check.

Must have been a fun little surprise to see the kilts.

I saw that the other night. Earlier in the program they were talking to a guy with a very full beard at table, and the table cloth was Black Stewart. It was a small delight to see them in kilts at the end of the show. I'm glad I did a search before I posted a new thread. I didn't realize it was such an old episode.

I recorded this one when it originally aired, but due to a move this past year its packed away (somewhere)
In lieu of that I did a search on youtube as I know that this episode was posted as a 4 parter. I found the footage in question:

...unfortunately you barely get to see them in the kilts because whom ever posted it cut it just as that part was showing!!

I reviewed the YouTube clip. That's not Stewart, MacGregor, or Rob Roy (I have a MacG kilt and a flannel shirt in Rob Roy). But, I'm stumped as to what the kilt tartan is.
