Drambuie
DRAMBUIE
anyone seen the new drambuie commercial?
it starts out with a guy leaving a building tucking a rolled up piece of parchment in his jacket.
then some guys start chasing him , and everytime he passes by a window/reflective wall he's in a kilt , and the guys chasing him are "redcoats" ....pretty funny!

I've seen it. It's great. I wish it were on more often. There are plenty of commercials I'm sick of. That's not one of them.

Santa wears a "redcoat", maybe he is chasing after him to get me my present. Or I could get into the "redcoats" chasing after him for political reasons, but I won't. It does sound however like a great commercial.

well since it WAS a drink reportedly brewed by "Charlie", and it says on the commercial that its been protected ( the recipie that is ) since 1745( ring any bells with that date? ) I imagine its more of the political aspect.......But I DO like your version better Glenn!

One of the old Scots at the cally told me that if you add a touch of boilling water to Drambuie it works wonders for a cold. His Grandmother gave it to him as a cold remedy... I've tried it the smell is wonderfull 8)

Here in Spain we often add something to our expresso coffee to make it more,... digerible , often it's brandy, but also Baileys is accepted,... my experiment was to add Drambuie to it, and....uffff,... just taste it! If you come to Spain you may ask at bars for a "carajillo" (pronounced "Carahiyo") and then u add ur choice for the "vitamin complex" you prefer! ;-)
Have fun!! ¡Salud!

Last bottle I drank had Royal Stewart tartan on it.
What totally sucked about the commercial was at the end the Meterosexual ordered his drambuie with soda water.
