    Edinburgh's Dark Side - Blog

I enjoy the stories of Edinburgh's dark history on this blog written by a woman from Edinburgh named Julie. Today's posting was titled "For the Love of the Kilt." Please enjoy reading this story and exploring Julie's blog.

    Interesting...

    "What makes a witch?

According to the law in the eighteenth century, any woman who used perfume, make-up, false teeth, false hair, earrings or high-heeled shoes to woo a man into marrying her was a witch and would be dealt with accordingly."

ToTheBrus. Thanks for the link. After reading that first one, we should never take wearing the kilt for granted.

I never knew that there was a judge in the family. There's one of the stories involving Sir George Lockhart and his brother Daniel. We don't get mentioned very often.

Re: Edinburgh's Dark Side - Blog

I too used to enjoy Julies work, sadly the blog appears to have stopped around three weeks ago.
    Anyone know why?
