    A very versatile actor and a good ambassador for the kilt.

    But I don't recall seing him kilted in any of his movies alas.
    Reverend Earl Trefor the Sublunary of Kesslington under Ox, Venerable Lord Trefor the Unhyphenated of Much Bottom, Sir Trefor the Corpulent of Leighton in the Bucket, Viscount Mcclef the Portable of Kirkby Overblow.

    You are correct.
    He is also kilted in claymation during the closing credits of that movie. It is the MacGregor tartan.

    Does he ever don a kilt in trainspotting? I seem to think he did in a scene, but am not sure.

    It's a good one. I say it on TV and bought it on DVD. My wife first saw it on the DD and ragged me on the "chick-flick." But after she watched it, se saw why I liked it. Let's say it is just a tad "off" in all the best ways!
