Bring out the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch! Good Lord...as the BadPiper said in his after interview, he came up with this as a way of rebelling against his Da, who wanted him to be a traditional piper...it's a long way to go to tell your old man "Up Yours!", but in the end it is quite entertaining...like a car wreck you can't quite avoid gazing at as you drive by...
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

I paused it to get a better look at the pipes, he has a set of gas lines running up the outside to the drones, so the flames don't really come out of the pipes. Still pretty impressive though. It was also the first time I had ever heard 88 Luft Balloons on the pipes, which in itself was interesting.

Did anyone see how he triggered the flames?
