Formula 51 with Samuel L. Jackson

I had already seen the movie Formula 51 with Samuel L. Jackson, but being a kilt wearer now I can really appreciate the many scenes of him being kilted. The part where he is leaving the hotel with his golf clubs and fights the three skinheads is great, it really shows the swoosh, swing and fantastic pleats.

In the special features on the DVD Samuel Jackson talks about how he saw his co-star from Star Wars wearing a kilt to the opening knight and how splendid Sean Connery looked and Samuel Jackson said if they can pull it off then I could as well.

Does anyone know what tartan he was wearing?

I saw him show up on Jay Leno in the kilt one evening. I have to admit that Duncan from Monarch of the Glen started me thinking, "...I ought to think about wearing a kilt...it looks really cool.", but seeing SLJ in the kilt was what really tipped the balance...figgered if HE could pull it off, I just had to get kilted.

I love it! Now just twist the scene from Pulp Fiction, and you'll get...

    "Hand me my Kilt!"

    "Which one's yours?"

"The one that says Bad *** ****** ***** on it!"

His co-star being Ewan McGregor of course.

I believe I read somewhere that it is the family tartan of the slave owners of his ancestors.

That's part of Elmo's dialogue at the 18th hole, when the other player says "you're as much a McElroy as me?"
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Sam Jackson is almost as manly as Sir Sean. He makes that kilt look great!
