Never seen that before,
does it taste like Scotland?

Amazing - yes you can buy Scott's porage oats in a similar packet here in Scotland but who would have thought they exported to Bahrain. Spreading the good taste around.

My favourite oats, I eat them 3-4 times a week.
They used to do some wonderful TV ads involving kilts too

Nice! My favourite oats are McCann's Irish Oats--from the land that St Brigid walked.

I had to look for this one...scroll about 40% of the way down the page to find "Big Otis"...
http://www.lavasurfer.com/cereal-kelloggs2.html
...I remembered this one from my childhood...our friends at Kellogg's exploiting the image of a brawny, good-natured Scotsman to push their overprocessed oat cereal. I guess that oats and the Scots will be forever linked...and if it's nae Scots...it's crap!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Belive it or not but I have seen this same product in a store in Lawarance KS, just a short drive from Kansas City. It's a little specilty shop called Brits, you know all things British. I took my mother up there for a little Chistmas shopping, she really likes the large variety of teas, and it is the only place that she can find those sausages ie "bangers". Got a nice thumbs up from the lady behind the counter in my SWK Blackwatch.
AGAIN MERRY CHRISTMAS Wes
