Free Southern California Kilted concert...
I think this would go in here, but I'm not sure.
I'm a big fan of The Wicked Tinkers and just got this email update. It's no good to me, but some of you guys might make it.
"Hey gang; I know this is kind of last minute - and those of you outside of the Southern California area probably will *not* be able to make it - BUT (butt?) We've just added a last-minute free concert!!
April 14 - FREE - INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CLAREMONT COLLEGES
International Place of The Claremont Colleges quadrangle, We play at 1pm - FREE - Enjoy food and entertainment from around the world! Modest prices for food. 390 East Ninth Street - Claremont, CA
There will be music and events all day.
We'll only be doing one set, so get there on time if you wanna see us!
Hope to see you there!"
Hope some of you can make it in my stead. I won't be able to see them until I move to the states and they play in Boise in September.

I'm looking forward to seeing them at the end of the month at the Woodland Games. I have only seen them perform once at the Pleasanton Games. After the show I went off and bought "Loud" and "Whiskey Supper" as well as a t-shirt. When I returned to my family the Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess asked me "What you became an instant Wicked Tinkers fan?" What could I say but "Yes!"
Cheers
Jamie

They put out a bulletin on Myspace. No good to me either.

You'll enjoy it. I hear they're even better live than their recordings.

Damn. Well, hopefully they'll be playing near you soon.
I'll have to add them to my myspace.

I'd never heard of them until my fiance played me their 'Dream' track from Whisky supper. I was a fan from then on.
I'm really looking forward to seeing them live.

Thanks for the head's up! I didn't see the bulletin on MySpace, but thanks to your post, Patti and I will probably go this Saturday. We'll be seeing them again at the Las Vegas games the following weekend.

I saw them twice in Salt Lake City and too think they are fantastic. They work the crowd really well.
