I was caught piping
I played my pipes for one of the Indiana State Police memorial services yesterday, May 11 (for the third year running). This is an annual service in remembrance of state troopers who have died in the line of duty.
I'm shown for about 5 seconds near the beginning of this clip and again briefly on the far right, in the background, at about 15 seconds:
WDRB - Fox News
I have even briefer exposure near the beginning of this shot, from about the same location:
WAVE - NBC News
I noticed a couple of note errors in my playing, but unless you're familiar with the tune or listening for them, I don't think they'd been noticed.
BTW, my younger brother is carrying the U.S. flag and was in charge of the color guard detail. You don't get a clear shot of his face, but that was him.

Looks good. The second video didn't play as well for me, but they did get more of the kilt in the shot.
Thank you for supporting those who have fallen in the line duty.

Coppers everywhere stick their chins out to keep us safe. It's good that they are remembered in this way.
Best Regards John

Well done. Remembering those who give their lives for us is an essential part of society.
It baffles me that the "Tube" carries advertising on such an occasion

The clips are on the local news stations' websites, not YouTube. The stations have advertising embedded in each clip they have available, so it's not put on just this clip.
Playing for this service is an honor for me*. I know a few of the guys at that particular post (friends of my brother).
Thanks for the compliments.
*I do get an honorarium for my time and travel expenses - it's 1/2 hour from my home, in another state. We also do a walkthrough a day/week before and about an hour beforehand so we're all on the same page when it comes time for the ceremony. The honorarium is much less than my normal piping fee.
