Ice Capades on tv Jan. 1, 2006 4:00 est

just was watching Ice Skating on tv, and looked up to hear the fiddle player(I think it was one of the Celtic Women) and they had 5 male skaters wearing kilts. and shaking thier butts, and than skated over each other and sat down one after the other...

    It was very weird!

It was Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular. The skaters are seen here in this photo from Michael Weiss' website.

Steven Cousins, Brian Boitano, Michael Weiss, Ryan Jhanke and David Pelletier.

Somewhat unrelated to this event, Scottish pairs skater John Kerr is apparently a regular kilt-wearer off the ice.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Anyone else notice that the Wallace kilt appears to be a USAK casual? cool

That does look like a USAK casual cool, really cool.

Hi guys... This is Kelly -
Yep, they are ours - I made all of them. The others wanted thier 'patches' left off, but we left Mr. Boitano's on.
I can't believe I missed the show. It wasn't on when they originally said it would air, and I guess I missed it.
    So, how did they look?

PS - thanks for posting the pic, Rex. I would not have otherwise seen them!
