I'm a national celebrity, it seems

I just found out that I have my picture in the local paper [Edmonton Journal - very large, in colour], and I got a call from a cousin in Toronto saying I made page 6 of the Toronto Sun.

I refuse to buy a paper for the sole purpose of looking at a picture of myself, but I did manage to see the picture. Of course, it had to be taken as I was walking home from:
-Drinking, dancing, and otherwise carousing until 5am
-Passing out in my clothes in a stranger's home
-Assorted other circumstances that I choose not to mention.

I think it's all a bit ridiculous, but my mom sure is proud.

Anywayne, if you guys saw a picture of a guy walking down the street, with a light coating of snow, then that was me.

Were you walking in the snow? if that was you, you made the Victoria "Times Colonist" too. Do you want me to get you a copy?

Well, if you were drinking till the wee hours of morning, at least you seem to be walking straight and tall . It's a good picture, you should be proud.

And now a Web Celeb. Good photo, even for a newspaper scan. You do seem to be walking proud, no 'snowsnake' marks

    How freakin' cool is that?

The only time I make the paper is when it's in the "Police Blotter" section.

Thanks everybody. Victoria to Toronto is quite a distance for me to be walking in the snow

Thanks, Steve, for posting a pic. I don't like your title for it, because I was perfectly warm that day, even though my coat [bought in NYC for their non-winter] is ridiculously thin. I also preferred my hometown's label of 'Scottish Brrr' as compared to this 'S---ting the Cold' business.

And as a bonus, the lady interviewing me today had seen the picture and gave me the job with no hassle!
    Yay for employment!
