When Will Stoneman's father dies, he is left alone to take care of his mother and their land. Needing money to maintain it, he decides to join a cross country dogsled race.

When will arrives at the Competitors Banquet before the race, Angus MacTeague (Brian Cox) makes a short appearance in a kilt with Argyle jacket and white dress sporran. Just a series of quick glimpses of the whole outfit but a few decent shots of the tartan.
