    Does anoyone remember/recall this poster/ad:

It is 2 time F1 Champ Jim Clark.

    Now, WHAT tartan is THAT??

Jim Clark's artefacts are kept in a room within the local council's offices just a few doors along from the court house in Duns. Unfortunately the room (behind the blue blind on the ground floor) is only opened from Easter to October. I asked the receptionist and also Councillor Elliot about Jim Clark in a kilt and both said he wore a kilt for quite a few publicity shots.

Note all the flowers in the garden today - unusual for December around here.

I have a small pic in a book (the Lotus Book, collectables version), from which I could tell it was NOT the blue/black/white one. THAT was the ONLY pic I've found on-line, its a tiny tad bigger on my "preview" program, but that was all it "transfered" to in photobucket. (One of the intents is to get a larger one)

That is Jim Clark with his Elan.

    Two words: Bad. Ass.

Jim Clark and Jackie Stewart. Those two are so amazing.
