    Jimmy Stewart Western

There is a movie from 1966, called "The Rare Breed", which stars James Stewart, Maureen O'Hara, and Brian Keith. Brian Keith plays a cattleman originally from Scotland. In one scene he dresses for dinner and wears a kilt (sorry, I don't recall the tartan). I seem to remember that he wears a balmoral in many scenes.

slightly OT: Victor McLaglen's son, Andrew, directed this movie -- Andrew McLaglen was an assistant director on "The Quiet Man" and later directed "The Wild Geese" and "The Seawolves: the Last Charge of the Calcutta Light Horse", both classic 70's war movies.

I'll have to look for it now the next time I'm at the video store.

Yup, that was a great movie, IMO. It's been a while since I last watched it, so I had forgotten about the Brian Keith's kilt. Now I'll have to see if I can find it again. Has it been on AMC or TCM lately?

Edit: Hey, I just noticed that this was my 400th post. Only 100 posts to go and I get to go to the Celebration Zone with KCW.
