KIDNAPPED: I wonder....
For those familiar with Disney's version of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Kidnapped":
General Wades road leading to the bridge from the "rebel" side:

You know, that photo of General Wade's Road reminds me of a scene from Disney's version of "Kidnapped", where young David Balfour meets Campbell (the "Red Fox") & his troops upon the road, and Campbell is shot dead. To my mind it looks strangely like the same road.
I know the film (for the most part) was shot in Scotland.
I wonder....hmmmm....
Any thoughts from the rabble?

Does anybody know where in Scotland Disney's version of "Kidnapped" was filmed?

I'm rather curious.
Thanks.

Well local folklore is silent on any filming of Kidnapped at the point in the picture. It is only 6 miles or so from Fort William, so, perhaps? There are in fact many many miles of General Wade's roads, bridges, barracks etc. to be seen still. He must have been one heck of an engineer, surveyor, administrator and organiser.
