"Kilted Golfer DENIED...." story in Scotland on Sunday electronic edition Sept 5 2010

"Kilted Golfer Denied..." makes it into print in Sunday Sept 5, 2010 edition of Scotland on Sunday, at least the electronic edition available online tonite:

    http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com...oon.6513546.jp

No photos on the free version, not certain what is there for registered users of the site, but I did send all my pictures to them for potential use. If any of our Scots friends can let me know if this is a print newspaper as well, and if so grab a copy of the article for me, I would appreciate it greatily, and will cover the costs of getting it across the Atlantic to me for my personal perusal and collection. Thanks to all for all the support.

Great article. I noticed that it has already inspired at least one rather colorful comment on Royal Troon's attitude.

Nice article that did NOT make RT look very good.....Whether they care or not is another matter. Glad the matter finally will get some public airing and allow the public a chance to respond accordingly.

I thought the "wearing of FULL CEREMONIAL HIGHLAND DRESS in the clubhouse " also prohibits a more casual use of the kilt. So a kilt with shirt, Argyll etc. or sweater would also be banned?
I can't see a full ceremonial highlander feeling comfortable at the 19th hole !

Well then, I am not up on golfing terminology, so forgive me! OK here goes, definitely a "Birdie" and if an "Eagle" is better, then that's what you got! Half a page on page 3, including three pictures AND a "leader" comment on page 18---------a damn good one! If you furnish me with an address I will post it to you. Well done Jeff!

Thanks Jock, PM will be sent momentarily. Nice to know they used some of the photos, too, as the free electronic version does not show any or even tell us where in the paper it came up. I am in your debt, fine sir.

    Ho Ho! Good work Jeff!

Early comments on the e-version certainly aren't too sympathetic to Troons

Good article and great leader. I find myself still confounded that there was an issue in the first place.
