    Kilted World Cup Mascot

Look out for young Connor Gray in his kilt at the start of the World Cup final tomorrow. There is a link to the preview video here, which was aired twice on BBC Scotland News on Thursday evening.

I would have liked to see that.

I think it was the "shooting back" thing, not the "Declaration of Independence" thing that preceded the shooting.

Actually, the shooting started in 1775, yet not sure who shot first ("the shot heard around the world").

THEN there was repeated "shooting back" on both sides as politicians sought options.

The "final straw" -the Declaration of Independace- followed later, when other attempts failed. It was punishable by death, for treason. Hence-> "Either we will hang together, or we shall surely hang seperately."

(sorry for any misquotes-> of the top of my head)
