    Kilts in Games

I'm a gamer, and have come across some kilted miniatures going through other forums here are a few shots.
These are from the game Infinity. It's a sci-fi game with nice Sculpts. so these guys are kilt wearers from the future. there is some nice detail here.

and then there is the game Heroscape. this is a light fun game that pitts opponents from all over time and space against each other. these two units work well with each other and create a good synergy.

Cool. I have some Crimean War Highlanders from Old Glory that I use in my steampunk games. They have a very bright tartan on their kilts. 8)

I'm a Heroscaper myself. As a matter of fact, I just opened a pack of "Kilts and Commando's" yesterday, though I haven't played them yet. (maybe Saturday)
I don't have Alistair McDirk though, I need to get him.

I'm thinking I might repaint the tartan to Irish National though.
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

Back when I played Warhammer I made a whole Wood Elf army in kilts. Most of the figures were in tunics, which I lengthened with some putty, and then painted in tartan. I don't think I have any photos, and I sold the army years ago, but they're probably out there somewhere.

My gaming group is currently in a campaign set in a modified Victorian setting (it includes magic and so forth). At the moment the characters are attached to a reinforced squad of Highland infantry dealing with an incursion from Faerie into a small English town - I'm using the Eureka Miniatures Highland regiment minis for my troops. They're nice, but I'm a bit concerned about the sound the piper will get from his three equal-length drones ...
