The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
I still think some of the fauns are wearing kilt-like garments, but this isn't about them.
This may actually have to go in Off Topic, but ...
the scene where the White Witch is conferencing with Aslan, and everyone is waiting outside - when they show Edmund, and then start panning to his left, take a quick look at what's waddling along behind him and Lucy - a brace of haggi!
I knew that Narnia was supposed to be an allegory for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, but I didn't know that meant it was Scotland!
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Interesting that you bring up the movie. I just saw it the other day and I noticed a strong resemblance between a member if this group and a Centaur in the movie. With a little make-up, of course. Anyone else notice a resemblance?

We're going to have to get you off that de-caf coffee and onto the real stuff.
The Google ads have been in place for quite some time. Some of the 'guests' that you may have noticed on this site are Google Adsense bots, gathering up keywords for the the placement of text-sensitive ads. When a thread gets started, the ads are usually quite generic, but as the thread takes on form, the ads will typically change to represent what is being discussed in the thread.
