    local Pipe Band Forming

A local group has formed a pipe and drum band. Here is a good article on how a pipe band starts up and how friendly and helpful the group is. This article was in the latest issue of Northern Michigan University's paper, "The North Wind."

Very impressive article, I hope they do well, so are you going to join?

Oh nooo, I wouldn't want to ruin a good thing! I can hardly play the radio. haha

And like my signature, another one would be, "Just because one wears a kilt, doesn't mean they have to or can play the bag pipes or drums!"

I had a member of the Arkansas Air National Guard ask me if I was "playing" last night when I walked accross the hotel lobby to the Ft. Smith Burns Supper. I sincerely thanked him for the compliment (as I do all who ask that question); I would love to be able to be a piper.
