| | | Looking for commercial
My girlfriend informed me that while I was out walking the dog, Spike TV aired a commercial the was a group of men modeling their kilts. Apparently, it was set around 1700's, and she only caught the end of the commercial (while drying her hair) so she was uncertain what it was about.
Has anyone seen this commercial?

I think there was one for Las Vegas, sometihng about ripping and fashion and something, wife and I caught it a few days back.

If it is the sameone I seen yesterday it is about Las Vegas. it starts out a Scottish medieval battle then turns into a bunch of guys in short kilts posing like there on a runway.

It could be the same commercial. The way you describe it, I don't think I would enjoy it.

I've been seeing that ad too. "it starts out a Scottish medieval battle then turns into a bunch of guys in short kilts posing like there on a runway" pretty much sums it up.
The 'kilts' they're wearing are not really kilts at all. More like Hollywood-inspired loin cloths. And some of them are wearing tartan suspenders. It's awful.

We all have to remember that this ad is not really trying to showcase kilts. It's another of the Las Vegas "any excuse you can make up to visit" ads.
This one isn't my favorite, but is slightly humorous.

I think I saw the Las Vegas one. The whisky ones are much better, imho.

I like the whisky one much better. It was nice to see so many XMTS members in the commercial showing off their kilts.

I finally saw the commercial. I can see why the girlfriend liked it. I don't understand why it would be on Spike TV, it might be more effective on Hallmark, or during Soap Operas, or Martha Stewart.
