Maple Leaf is offically the tartan of Canada
Not sure if you heard but it was announced today that the Maple Leaf tartan is the official tartan of Canada. Click here for the offical story.

i sure would like another one of your casual kilts and the maple leaf tartan would be a fine way to honor my family's Canadian roots...

It has been on my wish list since I started wearing kilts. Now I want it even more - I grew up in Canada.

LOve the Maple Leaf and proudly wear it was one of the best desicions I ever made to have it woven in pv by Marton Mills

I think it's a beautiful tartan.
BTW, Pendleton Woolen Mills has this as one of the color options for their midweight (Umatilla) wool Lodge Shirt:
