    Massacre of Glencoe Video

About two months ago I saw this video on PBS "Massacre of Glencoe" by the BBC Scotland (c) 2002. Well I found it this morning on youtube in seven parts. I found the video to be impartial and not blame the Campbell's so much.

    Here's the links:

    Part 1

    Part 2

    Part 3

    Part 4

    Part 5

    Part 6

    Part 7

As one who does not watch television, I am most appreciative for the opportunity.
    Thank you.

Have only had a chance to go through the first three. I hope they stay up on U-tube long enough for me to see all of them.

So far it looks pretty even handed, which still doesn't excuse the actions, but does help give some more perspective.

I am also in search of a CD of this. I wish I had the software required to rip the U-tube stuff and put them all together. I sent an e-mail to PBS asking if it is available for purchase, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Thanks for posting the links!!

    Good find. Thanks!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

The last couple of parts point the fingers at the conspirators and not Robert Campbell.

Glencoe is such an extraordinary place. Both it's natural & human history are fascinating. Those interested should make plans to visit, and certainly to return if you've been there already.

    Slainte yall,
    steve
