    'Monarch' - The Last Episode

Wow! I am exhausted! I've just been watching the last episode of what I expected to be the final series of "Monarch of the Glen".

So much excitement: Molly back from New Zealand; Donald appointed rightful Laird only to have the title reclaimed by Paul in the nick of time - AND Paul wearing the kilt for the first time (Ewan too!).

To cap it all: there will be another series in 2005!!

    Another series! :o

I thought they kept touting this one as the last series! I wish that I could see series 6 right now, but I'm just glad I got to see series 5.

I'm still waiting for the New Zealand spin-off series. "Kiwi of the Glen" Is Golly the only original member left, or did Molly return for good?

bit late for that Glen, I think it went downhill from series one.
still a good show tho', thanks for the preview Hamish, but i stand by what i said earlier - it's not the same without duncan and his full time kilt wearing.

I enjoyed this episode too Hamish. Especially the inauguration sequence at the end. Kilts and dancing a-plenty! looked like a great party. Wish I could have been there!

I have to agree with you Graham, but I will still cancel all other engagements to catch each episode! It is always a joy to watch, even with the sound turned off, if it were necessary - not that it has been!

Note to Rufus: I believe Golly is the last of the original characters to survive. Molly? We were not told whether she will be with us for the 2005 series.
