More Kilts In Tasmania!

I don't know if Graham has reported this one as I have been off the forum for a while - work really plays havoc with your social life anyway...

We have a programm on the ABC down here at 6:30pm every Wednesday called the "Collectors", all about antiques. One of the presenters is a Scott by the name of Gordon Brown and every couple of programs he presents a story out and about while wearing a kilt, looking very modern to. Boots, Jakobite shirt and vest. The only slighly off putting note is he wears it all with a HUGE dress sporran, However on the plus side the programm goes nation wide so Aussies are getting more exposure to kilts!

I missed that one Rob, however there was an episode of "Beat the Chef" where the chef (a Scot) was wearing a kilt.

Good to see you back on the forum, I'll be in Hobart this weekend for the Tattoo, are you going?

Hi Graham

Yes we are going to the Tattoo but on the Thursday night as we are going away for the long weekend. We will be heading for the highlands around the Great Lake for 3 days. Now after the snow and wind of the last few weeks it is going to be a real challenge in a kilt. Yes we are camping at Liawiene renowned as the coldest place in the state - wish me luck.
