    "My Fair Laddy" Simpsons alert

Tonight on the Simpsons, Bart burns down Groundskeeper Willies' house, so he goes to live with the Simpsons, and Lisa gives Willie a makeover. Tonight at 8:00 Eastern time

I caught that episode...not much mention of the kilt, except for a few times...good episode, though.

Only 1 Kilt shown (sort of) on Willie's father. And a mention when Willie is singing in the Simpson house and makes a coment about wearing something under his kilt.

I don't think that was a Great Kilt. He was wearing a standard kilt with a Sherrif Muir jacket and a frilly skirt when Bart tied balloons to his kilt!

Another good one was with Willie was kilted and being questioned by the Springfield Police. Chief Wiggums threatened to shoot him if he uncrossed and crossed his legs again (a la Fatal Attraction).

Actually it would have been "a la Basic Instinct"...

To be honest, I dont' think I've ever seen Willie wear pants on the show...always a kilt....

You are quite right. Got my psycho female movies mixed up.

And in the "my fair lady episode" Willie is actually in a suit at one point!

I guess I need to watch more Simpsons rather than South Park where kilts have yet ot make an appearance (or at least from what I've seen). Then again I don't think the Simpsons could top the episode about Helen Keller: The Musical...
