Kilts in the Media Was someone famous wearing a kilt? Did the media cover a Kilt issue?

National Geographic Jan 2010 Article

Cover tease says "Sublime Scottish Islands" No kilts in the pics, but haven't read the article. Just picked up the magazine at the supermarket today. Lots of pics of Skye and Lewis including the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye, home of my ancestors. Title of the article is "Edge of the World." Seems to have a heavy geology focus.

Why of course it is......

It's one of those "Geo-" things right?

Seriously, I'll have to look for a copy. Thanks for the pointer Ron.

They're pretty closely tied together.

Excellent article. It describes how our ancestors had to have lived, and how tough they were.

They could have done the whole issue on that region.

I thoroughly enjoyed this article...incredible pictures. Nat Geo has become more activist in recent years, and some of their articles sadden me greatly, but this one left me smiling.
