    Orange County Choppers - Kilted!

So, out on the road (business trip) and channel surfing when I come across the OCC show on Discovery channel. The guys are touring the UK and ended up in Scotland. Show includes a stop at The Kilt Hire Store where everyone gets kilted up before a tour of Edinburgh Castle.

A couple of preliminary 'skirt' comments but in general the kilt is presented in a favorable light with several positive comments. Worth watching, even if you don't catch OCC on a regular basis.

    Cheers

Since two of my Denver area kilted brothers have seen the show I really feel left out {sob sob} OK that is over, but I am glad to see the positive take on kilts.

Yep, much better than I expected as well Bryan.

And the section with the reenactors took place at Melville Castle....where the wife and I were in August. Great memories, can't wait to go back!

I thought it was good as well. I will re-post the question I had on the other thread, which is what tartan/kilt is Paul Jr. wearing? I like the fact that it appears to be a tartan from the front, but the pleats show a saltire. Very cool!

That's the Saltire Tartan. Saw it at a wedding earlier this year in Edinburgh. See it at www.saltiretartan.com
    It is very cool.

Paul Sr looked downright menacing in a kilt. Riding the scooters kilted looked nice and airy ;-) Paul Jr sure did wimp out at Melville Castle.

hehe, good point Bryan, but I think Paul Sr. would look menacing in a tutu.

I agree! I had not seen AC in a while and had forgotten how massive Paul Sr's arms were. when he was riding the old (1969?) BSA bike, he is so large he made it look like a mini-bike!
